Paradise Field is located on a portion of Lakeland Airport property. The entrance to the site is at the intersection of West Pipkin Road and Air Show Road in Lakeland, Florida.

From I-4, exit at County Line Road, Exit #25, Turn Right at Exit and go 4 ½ Miles to Pipkin Rd. Turn Left and go 1 ¾ miles to Entrance.

From Rte. 60, take County Line Road west to Pipkin and turn Right.
From Florida Ave. in Lakeland take W. Pipkin road west 3 ¾ miles.
From the Polk Parkway, take the Waring Road Exit, turn south and go to its end at W. Pipkin. Turn Right and go 1 ½ miles to Entrance.

 

There are several Hotels in the area. Cindy Burkey, our agent for 21 years, has arranged special rates for all of them. We suggest booking through Cindy because her tracking system gives us accurate information for city officials when calculating the economic impact the event has on the community. The more impact, the better the chances of us returning!

Of all the hotels we list, there is one we do NOT Recommend. The Imperial Swan Hotel has repeatedly used techniques like double charging guest credit cards, lost proof of reservations, charging a higher fee upon arrival than originally quoted and other practices that force us to WARN you that if you have a problem with this hotel we cannot help you resolve it.

Of all the other Hotels, The Hilton garden Inn is the closest to the Airport, in fact, on Airport property, and is the newest. It features a restaurant and large cocktail lounge, pool and excellent rooms. The Holiday Inn South is the one of few that feature outside entrances which some people enjoy for ease of getting equipment into and out of their room. Its rooms are all renovated this year, has a good Italian restaurant for breakfast and dinner and a pool. If you prefer a small suite with kitchen appliances, The Marriot is excellent. The Hampton is brand new as is the Fairfield. There are several less expensive Motels in the area and Cindy has a complete list.
